Drop wire clamps, also called flat cable clamps, can be used with telephone drop wire cable, and optical fiber cable in FTTH, FTTX, and FTTB solutions. TUOLIMA's drop wire clamps are mostly used in telecommunication. The drop tension clamp is equipped with perforated shim, which increases the tension load on the drop wire. The stainless steel wire bail allows installations of ODWAC drop wire clamps on the buildings, poles, strand with drive hooks, pole brackets, SS hooks, and other drop wire fittings and hardware. That can be supplied either separately or together as assembly with FTTH-CLAMP.
Drop wire anchoring clamps and drop wire mounting fittings are available in TUOLIMA's product range. Optical fiber drop wire clamps are easily to be pick up according to mechanical resistance and the diameter of the cables' wire messenger.
All the assemblies passed the tensile tests, operation experience with temperatures ranging from - 60 °C up to +60 °C test, temperature cycling test, aging test, corrosion resistance test, etc.
What is Drop Wire Clamp?
The drop wire clamp is used for supporting one or two pairs of fiber drop wires. With an open trough, it is used to support separable strands. A shim, shell, and wedge are used to support the cable with the help of compression.
The drop wire clamp with its intelligent structure and form is used to provide support to different objects at a cable. In most cases, it is capable of supporting one and two pairs of telephone drop wires.
Types of Drop Wire Clamps
Drop wire clamps consist of two types:
1, Wire wrap type
2, Compression type
Both of the types require that the clamp does not get degraded by the signal quality by damaging the signal being carried in the cable or the insulation.
How to install a Drop Wire Clamp?
First of all, lay the cable in the shell and place the shim on the top of the cable through raised embossing used against the cable. You need to then insert the wedge in the shell which is on the top of the shim and then pull to engage. The small end of the wedges needs to be engaged in the track of the large end of the shell. You can then place the bail wire on the B drop wire hook with the help of a wedge loss. Then, pull the drop wire through the clamp until the proper sidewalk or alley clearance is attained. Features: 
FTTH drop clamp S-Type is designed for suspension or tension round or flat FTTH fiber optic cable or drop wire cable in FTTX construction or telephone drop wires. FTTH clamp S-Type is applied outdoor on routes with short spans up to 50mm.
FTTH drop clamp is very easy for installation, and it does not require additional tools, handily adjusted metal S-hook allows simple installation on cross-arm or suspension brackets and FTTH hooks, as well.
FTTH plastic clamp S-Type has plastic clips for round and flat cable sizes diameter 2.5-5mm or size 2*5mm, which covers most of the popular ranges of outdoor FTTH cables. The plastic clip provides excellent adherence with cable and ensures reliable fixation.

Application:
These clamps will be used as cable dead-end at end poles (using one clamp).Two clamps
can be installed as a double dead-end in the following cases :
• at jointing poles
• at intermediate angle poles when the cable route deviates by more than 20°.
• at intermediate poles when the two spans are different in lengths
• at intermediate poles on hilly landscapes
